Trout, yes, I agree, that this person should not have stated what he did. I disagree with his assessment, and as I have mentioned before, this feels eerily similar to the storm that was created over our founder Will. For the record, people accused him of hacking, and he wasn't. Will was, and still is, the toughest player I have ever played against. I swore that he knew where I was going before I did, and he never missed. But every time I speced him I learned something new. Later, I spoke with him and he said that he hard learned to always "check the corners" and shot for the head always...he just got good at it. Same with •••••••••Trout, though, I think that Will is still a better skilled player, but you are a solid second :-D.
Now, that being said...I have been an admin for awhile now. I have been a member of this clan for several years. And in all my time, not once, have I ever been contacted as a job reference for a clan member. I have never been contacted by a credit reporting agency regarding my perception of any player. I know that we love this game, and that we do contribute hard earned money to it, but, at its core, this is a free game. This should do only one thing: bring us merriment and laughter. If it doesn't, then we need to check ourselves out. Trout, I would encourage you to let this roll off your back. No one likes to be called a cheat or a hack, I agree, but again, this is only a game. I enjoy playing against you, and heckling you and consider myself lucky to call you a clan mate. I hope that you don't take this the wrong way.
Psycotic...same thing to you. I know that your message suggests that you are going to let this go. I hope that you do. We don't need to dwell on this matter any further.
To the rest of the clan...We make each other better. When we do, sometimes we get better than we or others expect. You will probably be called a hacker. Consider it a badge of honor. If they demo you, and you aren't hacking, then trust that the evidence will bear that out.

PsYcOTiC...somehow you have managed to maintain (even gain) my respect over this whole debacle. Your reply was well written and obviously well thought out. Your apologies on the WC server deal and calling out on our TDM server are accepted, and I'd like to extend my apologies if it seems that I am publicly trying to trash you...my intent is only to keep my name clear and to continue to represent the -LG- clan in a respectable manner. I hope that you'll reconsider leaving servers when I am playing and hope that sooner or later you'll realize that I don't hack. That would be the best outcome I could hope for.

As an aside, this whole deal has made me wonder how one could conceivably convince an accuser that they were not hacking. Aimbots are pretty simple to spot in my opinion. Wallhacks, however, seem to be a difficult hack to prove or disprove. I guess one could set up a webcam on their own monitor during a game to show what they are actually seeing? A question that I hope someone may be able to answer...if a wallhacker recorded a demo via the game, would it show the hack or just the game? Does that make sense?

The idea of using a webcam would be just about the only way to show you weren't wallhacking during a game because if you were wallhacking and did it... it would show. If you took a demo of yourself while using a wallhack... it would also show the hack.

On the note of aimbots... the obvious (noob) hacker is indeed easy to spot but someone smart who takes the time to refine the settings of the hack can make an aimbot act much like human actions but still gain an edge. it takes many hours of looking at demos in super way slowed down timeline to spot these things by watching for the firing and when it starts and stops during engagement with enemies. The low FOV settings and "human Aim" settings are there for just the reason of making you look like you don't cheat (when you are using a hack that is) and are very hard to spot. I found 3 or 4 on the WC server within a few days of playing... these were seemingly good players that were slipping under the radar.

Then there are the ones that intentionally sport terrible K/D ratios so anyone calling them a hack get ridiculed due to their stats.

Then there are the ones that can set their hack up good but still suck and sport the same crappy K/D ratios and accomplish the same thing.... hack and get away with it. really... who looks at players with a 25/47 ratio?

Anyway... it is pretty hard to convince an accuser to the contrary without subjecting yourself to much headache and effort to gather your own footage of commonly played rounds when like it was just said.... if you are reported and you are truly a clean player.... consider it a compliment and play on. I get accused pretty regular and I am not really that good of a player and I usually just respond with "LOL" and a few more kills later they ragequit.

I believe we can all play nice together because I like all of the guys I have chatted with in teamspeak (I wish you guys were on more though) and I kinda enjoy the low grav a bit. I also accept your apology even though it was not necessary for me.

Sorry to burst your bubble LG but he's a fish playing videogames. He's obviously hacking. Unless he has one of those gaming keyboards - they pretty much play themselves. But seriously, am I the only one seeing this? I'm not crazy.

Well Tactical if PsYc0TiC says your a hack then my friend you are, ive noticed strange behavior from seeing and spectating you the way you snap is unbelieveable, i too have to say your using you must toggle it on and off to suit your needs, or when someone is spectating.

I will only give my opinion becouse he is a clan member, and I would like to hear other members opinions if it was me the one hackusated.

first of all, I played him a few times, not as many as others i guess, but I've never noticed anything weird about him.

about the demo, from the all demo (lasts a few minutes, more than enough to spot a hack) I have seen nothing conclusive to say he is hacking, I saw only 2 situations that are suspicious, but we all have a few of those always... lucky shots or cheking quickly a respawn spot.

about psycotic... I think if he really belived TACT. was hacking and he did the demo and upload it in the correct way, there is not much to say. we has the right to ask and inform admns about his doubts about any players even clan members.

so in conclusion, I belive this clan has a very serious stand about hacking, I have seen you guys kicking a clan member before even when he was hacking in other server. so I think that we (the youngers members and regular players) should leave this decition to senior admns, I have complete faith in them and they decitions.

as for me... I dont think he is hacking and I will be more than glad to see you tactical in any server and fight beside or against you... who knows... maybe even curbstomp you...
